Design intent

The design is driven by the structural logic of a carbon fibre composite chassis. Rather than applying surface styling, the form is the result of material behaviour, aerodynamic efficiency and system integration. Every surface expresses function — from reduced structural mass to integrated lighting and glazing systems.

Design development

The project was developed in close collaboration with engineering and technology partners from the automotive and aerospace sectors.
Design decisions were continuously informed by structural constraints, resulting in a body architecture defined by curvature, weight optimisation and integrated systems.
The studio contributed to both early concept direction and detailed 3D surface development.

Design highlights

Composite-driven form language
The exterior shape is directly derived from carbon fibre structural performance, resulting in a reduced, aerodynamic silhouette.

Integrated systems design
Lighting, glazing and functional components are embedded within the body surface, reducing visual fragmentation.

Interior spatial efficiency
A fully flat floor and optimised wheel arch integration create an open, continuous interior volume.

Outcome

The Ebusco 3.0 establishes a new benchmark in lightweight electric mobility, combining efficiency, range and spatial comfort within a single integrated design system.
